Comments of the jury / Dommerkomiteens ord:

Sparkling with energy. Morten Albek wins the prize for best news story on television. /  Det sprudler af overskud. Morten Albek vinder Årets TV Fotograf Nyheder.

This year’s winner has done all the thing that the judges generally misses in television news stories. He has thought about the story, and tells the story in a new and different way.

Next, he has experimented and adjusted form and communication with footage, editing and graphic effects so it all works together as a whole. It sparkles with engagement and draws the viewer full into the story. The subject for the story is old movie experiences, and the news story becomes a filmic experience in it´s own.  You simply wants to go to see the exhibition the story is about.

With this prize the jury wants to make a statement to all the smaller broadcasters: Come on. You can do it!

The jury decided not to nominate any others in this category. / Juryen valgte ikke at nominere andre indslag i denne kategori.
